Position Details

  • Job Title: A.M. Line 3 Moulder/Pan Feed Operator

  • Base Rate per Hour: $21 (range $21 - $24)
  • Shift: 1st
  • Number of Openings: 1
  • Hours: Generally starts as early as 5:45 AM, with overtime and weekend work as needed. Hours may vary during holidays. Punctuality and attendance are required.
Job Summary and Duties

Moulder: Operates, sets up, and adjusts the moulder. Ensures proper moulding of dough to produce quality products. Tasks include lifting up to 10 lbs. to fill flour sifter, lifting up to 15 lbs. for pans, keeping conveyors clean, and following HACCP/CTS/GMP/JSA standards. May assist other Line 3 positions as needed.

Pan Feeder: Places pans weighing approximately 6 lbs. on the feed conveyor, removes pans during downtime and at shift end, stacks pans on trucks, and moves trucks weighing up to 1500 lbs. about 30 ft. at start and end of shift. May assist other Line 3 positions as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills; ability to exercise good judgment and resolve issues promptly.
  • Food safety awareness, including adherence to HACCP, CTS, SOP, GMP, and JSA standards, with focus on contamination prevention, allergen control, and traceability.
  • Ability to follow exact formulas and procedures to maintain product quality and label accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards.
Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Minimum of two years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements
  • Stand for extended periods.
  • Use hands, fingers, and arms to manipulate materials and equipment.
  • Walk, stoop, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear.
  • Use senses for troubleshooting.
  • Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs. and push/pull heavy loads.
Work Environment

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, fumes, airborne particles, temperature extremes, noise, forklift traffic, and wet environments. Compliance with safety regulations and proper use of safety equipment is mandatory.

The role requires adaptability to changing environments and working in a team. Overtime may be necessary. Vacation policies and performance evaluations are outlined, with a minimum stay of one year required.

Supervision and Compensation

Supervised by Andrew Johnston, Supervisor on Duty. Compensation depends on location, experience, skills, and education, with additional benefits including health, dental, 401k, and wellness programs from day one.
