Job summary

Novolex in City of Industry, CA is seeking a Machine Operator - 1st Shift to operate bag making machines and safely produce high-quality paper bags according to procedures. You will read order sheets, set up equipment, verify print job requirements, perform quality checks and complete daily production paperwork, with a 12-hour shift and potential overtime.

Starting pay is $19.81–$21.40 per hour, depending on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
• Ability to work 12 hour days
• Work overtime as needed
• Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation

Overview

This position is responsible for operating bag making machines in order to safely produce high quality paper bags in accordance with the job safety analyses, production schedule, set up instructions, operating procedures and quality specifications.
