Job Overview

This position involves setting up and operating roll-forming equipment to produce quality parts, making adjustments to ensure optimal operation, and performing maintenance tasks such as die repairs and punch sharpening.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Operate roll forming lines and secondary equipment to produce defect-free products.
  • Ensure product quality by adjusting machines and using inspection gauges; report issues.
  • Perform minor troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating equipment.
  • Document production and scrap records accurately.
  • Handle materials using machinery and equipment like hoists, forklifts, and cranes.
  • Verify material labels, organize materials, and assist with stacking finished products.
  • Perform additional duties to support plant operations as needed.
Working Conditions

Work involves direct contact with machinery in a safety-sensitive role, often in a non-climate-controlled environment with variable temperatures. Physical demands include prolonged standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, crawling, and climbing. Vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision, with the ability to focus. Flexibility in schedule is required, and accommodations are available for disabilities.

Minimum Qualifications
  • At least two years of experience in metal fabrication, preferably roll-forming. TIG welding experience is a plus.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical skills with hand tools and measurement devices.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents.
  • Mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it.
