Job Description

A Machine Operator ensures that the final product complies with the company's quality standards, including reliability, usability, and performance. These detail-oriented professionals are responsible for using tools to perform hourly checks to ensure quality standards are met and the equipment is functioning properly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Maintain a safe work environment through training, adherence to policies, and housekeeping.
  2. Carry out production, inspection, packaging, and machine operation duties.
  3. Effectively monitor production equipment.
  4. Make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance and quality.
  5. Troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  6. Perform quality control checks, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisors.
  7. Minimum 18 years of age.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education & Certificates

High school education or equivalent is desired.

Technical Skills & Experience

Knowledge and experience with micrometers, tape measures, and ovality gauges are a plus.

Previous machine operating experience is a plus.
