Job Overview

Graham Packaging is seeking a Machine Operator 1 for night shifts (7pm to 7am) at our Altavista, VA facility. The role involves operating plastic blow molding machines, making adjustments, and performing minor repairs to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.

Responsibilities

1. Follow all safety, health, quality, GMP, and company policies.
2. Operate blow molding and auxiliary equipment, ensuring high-quality output.
3. Perform mold, insert, and color changes; assist with machine adjustments.
4. Monitor processing conditions and perform quality checks.
5. Assist with mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance.
6. Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
7. Complete documentation accurately and timely.
8. Coordinate with supervisors and support staff to meet production goals.
9. Train new operators and assist team members as needed.

Qualifications
