Job summary

Imerys is seeking a Machine Operator-1-2 to support our production lines. You will select tools, set up and operate equipment, and ensure products meet the production plan. You will read blueprints and understand coolant and lubricant usage while recording run data.

Successful candidates demonstrate strong attention to quality and safety, and are prepared to train other team members as needed. Full-time, permanent position on site.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints or technical drawings.
• Ability to operate metalworking machinery safely.
• Good record-keeping of production data.

Responsibilities

• Select tools and set up the machine for production.
• Operate the machine and monitor output against the production plan.
• Check finished products and document results for approval.
• Record operating data and train team members when needed.

PositionMachine Operator-1-2 Job Summary Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety and quality policies in all work environments and areas. Select tools required to produce products, and set up and operate the machine. Check finished products against production plan, and submits for approval. Understand working properties of common metals, read blueprints, and understand use of coolants and lubricants. Compile and record operating, production and machines-related data. Train other team member if necessary.
