Job summary

Jamco Interiors in Everett, WA is seeking a skilled machinist to set up and operate CNC and manual machines, read engineering drawings, and run production with precision to meet quality standards. You will monitor tooling and dimensions, perform basic troubleshooting, and collaborate with Programming and Engineering to resolve production issues while maintaining safety and equipment care.

Commitment to quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement is essential; domestic travel may be required

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of machining or related machine-operation experience.
  • Basic ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow written and verbal work instructions.
  • Experience setting fixtures, cutting tools, and operating/monitoring production equipment.
  • Familiarity with CNC and/or manual equipment such as DMG MORI, HAAS, mills, lathes, routers, waterjets, saws, brake presses, shears, or similar equipment.
  • Familiarity with machine controls (Mitsubishi, Fanuc, Siemens, CELOS, Heidenhain, or similar).
  • Ability to use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and precision inspection equipment.
  • Working knowledge of basic machining mathematics, trigonometry, and English/metric measurements and conversions.
  • Basic Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook skills.
  • Strong attention to quality, communication, teamwork, and basic problem-solving skills.
  • Successful completion of required pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Physical Demands, Travel & Work Environment

Regularly requires extended standing, walking, use of hands, talking, hearing, and operation of production equipment. Occasional sitting, reaching, lifting, and bending are required. Close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment are necessary. Domestic or international travel may occasionally be required for training or company business.
