Job summary

Viant Medical Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for 2nd/3rd shift to operate and monitor machines in our medical device manufacturing environment. You will load materials, inspect parts, follow SOPs, and help maintain equipment while meeting quality and production targets.

The role requires basic blueprint reading, 1–2 years of machine experience, and strong attention to detail. We offer a competitive hourly wage and shift differential for 2nd/3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years experience operating machines in a manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection equipment.
• Basic shop math skills.
• Able to read basic blueprints and/or operation sheets.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with small precision parts.

Responsibilities

• Operates machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing of products
• Follows all required work and maintenance instructions and procedures
• Loads component materials into product specific tools
• Inspects parts visually and dimensionally to assure conformance to requirements
• Performs basic set-up and operation of manual machines
• Maintains machine maintenance and log
• Follows documentation for product manufacturing (SOPs/travelers/routers/prints/deviations)
• Cleans and maintains machinery
• Performs other functions as required

Shift Hours (includes 20 min paid lunch; Monday-Friday workweek)

2nd shift: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

3rd shift: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am

"We offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role is $19.00-$23.00/hour, 10% shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law."

Position Summary:

Job Requirements:

• Must have basic knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection equipment and techniques.
