Amcor is seeking a Machine Operator to manage a specific production line, ensuring uptime, product quality, and process efficiency. You will monitor machines, troubleshoot issues, and uphold GMP and food-safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal candidates have at least three years of manufacturing leadership or operator experience, strong data-entry skills, and ability to read mechanical drawings. The role emphasizes training, housekeeping, and continuous improvement.
The Operator has overall responsibility for their respective machine and its numbers, including but not limited to uptime/downtime, product scrap, output, and efficiency through exercising good manufacturing practices and identifying areas of opportunity for continuous improvement, all while maintaining all safety standards and expectations relating to their job and machine. This person must always act within food safety and GMP guidelines.

This position requires an employee to stand, walk and sit, and work at a computer for extended periods of time. Frequent exposure to a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels. Potential contact with chemicals and cleaning supplies, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds is a requirement. Operators are required to maneuver around and inside small areas to make machine adjustments during setups, changeovers, and troubleshooting.
