Qualifications

  • Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as production demands require.
  • Understanding of GMP and related regulatory standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production machines according to procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Perform routine machine setup, loading materials, adjusting settings, and initial tests.
  • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor malfunctions to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct in-process quality checks and document results to ensure products meet specs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on machinery as scheduled.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and material usage.
  • Adhere to safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, ISO).
  • Communicate status and machine issues with supervisors and maintenance staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist with other production-related tasks as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the life sciences or medical device industry.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand and operate complex machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and production schedules.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface operation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
