Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a processing equipment operator at our Wisconsin site to monitor high‑pressure processing systems and ensure safe, orderly product flow. You will verify recipes, input data, and operate forklifts, adhering to MFCS/WMS/WCS protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of processing equipment operator experience preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS), MFCS, and WCS.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Ability to understand instructions in English.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure processing systems to ensure proper recipes and product quality.
• Identify orders ready for processing and monitor workflow.
• Ensure proper receipt, storage, and distribution of food products.
• Input accurate product documentation into the computer system.
• Assist onboarding of new customers by testing systems and reporting damages.
• Transport product from staging areas using a forklift.
• Address process deviations and follow leader directions.
• Resolve system errors and document data related to logistics operations.
• Follow MFCS, WCS, and WMS protocols daily.
• Perform minor repairs to automatic installations as needed.

Job description

Monitor processing equipment by observing pressure, temperature, and relative humidity measurements to achieve optimal functioning of the automated warehouse systems of the site. Ensure the product is moved through the facility in a timely and orderly manner, while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• May operate high-pressure processing system machine to ensure customer products follow the proper process. Enter recipe into the system panel, ensure items match the product on the production floor, monitor production quality control, and identify damaged products
• May identify which order/customer is ready for a high-pressure processing system
• May ensure the proper receipt, storage, handling, and/or distribution of safe and quality food products are at the site
• May input accurate product documentation into the computer system
• May assist with onboarding of new customers by testing the high-pressure processing system with their product to obtain correct specifications and report any damages to the supervisor
• May transfer product from staging areas to the high-pressure processing system department via forklift
• May resolve structural deviations in the work process and adjust where necessary per leader direction
• May ensure errors are handled correctly in site systems correct error handling in the systems.
• May process system data relating to the logistic operations
• May follow MFCS, WCS and WMS issues on a daily basis
• May resolve minor repairs to automatic installations

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• May assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes in the field of systems as well as major deviations and bottlenecks and communicate these to site leadership

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• High School diploma or GED
• 6 months of processing equipment operator experience
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS), MFCS, and WCS
• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
