Job summary

Lineage is seeking an Processing Equipment Operator to monitor and control high-pressure processing systems in our Texas facility. You will input recipes, verify product identity on the floor, and maintain quality control throughout production.

The role requires basic math, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with WMS/MFCS/WCS. You must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in varied temperatures with appropriate PPE. Lineage values safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of processing equipment operator experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS), MFCS, and WCS.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to work in cold storage (-20F/-25C) or dry storage (up to 100F/37C).
• Must lift at least 40 lbs (18 kg).
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure processing system and input recipes to the control panel.
• Monitor production quality control and identify damaged products.
• Ensure proper receipt, storage, and distribution of safe food products at site.
• Enter accurate product documentation into computer systems.
• Assist with onboarding of new customers by testing processing system specifications.

Job description

Monitor processing equipment by observing pressure, temperature, and relative humidity measurements to achieve optimal functioning of the automated warehouse systems of the site. Ensure the product is moved through the facility in a timely and orderly manner, while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• May operate high-pressure processing system machine to ensure customer products follow the proper process. Enter recipe into the system panel, ensure items match the product on the production floor, monitor production quality control, and identify damaged products
• May identify which order/customer is ready for a high-pressure processing system
• May ensure the proper receipt, storage, handling, and/or distribution of safe and quality food products are at the site
• May input accurate product documentation into the computer system
• May assist with onboarding of new customers by testing the high-pressure processing system with their product to obtain correct specifications and report any damages to the supervisor
• May transfer product from staging areas to the high-pressure processing system department via forklift
• May resolve structural deviations in the work process and adjust where necessary per leader direction
• May ensure errors are handled correctly in site systems correct error handling in the systems.
• May process system data relating to the logistic operations
• May follow MFCS, WCS and WMS issues on a daily basis
• May resolve minor repairs to automatic installations

Additional Duties And Responsibilities

• May assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes in the field of systems as well as major deviations and bottlenecks and communicate these to site leadership

Minimum Requirements (knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• High School diploma or GED
• 6 months of processing equipment operator experience
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS), MFCS, and WCS
• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
