Position Summary:

The Machine Operator plays a key role in our production process by setting up, operating, and maintaining corrugated box-making equipment. This position ensures all machinery runs efficiently, safely, and produces high-quality products that meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate various production machinery including flexo folder gluers, rotary die cutters, slotters, and stitchers.
  • Set up machines according to production orders and specifications.
  • Monitor operations to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
  • Make mechanical adjustments to improve output and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure correct materials are used and properly loaded into machines.
  • Record production data, including quantities, waste, and downtime.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and accuracy.
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Assist in training or guiding new production team members as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 12 years of experience operating manufacturing or converting machinery preferred (corrugated or packaging industry a plus).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret production orders, schematics, and measurements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Forklift experience helpful but not required (training provided).
Schedule:
  • Full-time (Monday-Friday)
  • Day Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) or Night Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)
