The Position

Our Machine Operators are responsible for safely and accurately setting up, adjusting, and operating machines and auxiliary equipment to produce wire and wire products.

Responsibilities:

• Read, understand, and follow production schedules and instructions.
• Set up assigned machines.
• Detect and report faulty processes and suggest improvements.
• Follow all safety rules and report unsafe conditions or accidents.
• Coordinate with the lead at the start of each shift to determine the schedule.
• Maintain wire drawing machines according to standards, making minor adjustments as needed.
• Load rod coils onto drawing machine payoffs.
• Operate machines to produce finished products.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the shift.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Basic knowledge of production and machine operation.
• Ability to use tools and precision equipment.
• Excellent attendance and work record.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
