Reports to: Production Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Hourly Starting Rate: $21.18
Shift: 2nd Shift
Monday - Thursday 4pm-2am

Purpose

The Hotwire Machine Operator position maintains all operation of the HotwireMachine, cutting block foam. This process and quality check is a very critical role for the Lamination Department and overall company operations.

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery and producing quality material while maintaining maximum productivity and efficiency of the production process.
• The operator is responsible for;
  • Working well with other co-workers in a team environment
  • The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Provides for and maintains a safe work environment with proper training and communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous manufacturing, knowledge of mechanical equipment, math skills and computer experience a plus.
• Use of machine tools and equipment such as; hand tools and forklift.
• Physical demands include; standing, constantly moving, reaching and lifting ten hours.
