HIRING!

Position: Machine Operator

Location: Smyrna, TN

Shift:

• First Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Second Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM

We have multiple openings across our first and second shifts and welcome applications for both full-time and part-time candidates, including students!

Job Details & Responsibilities

This position requires operating machinery, performing material handling, and assisting with general warehouse tasks. Responsibilities include:

• CNC Operation: Loading material onto CNC machines, monitoring the cutting process, removing the finished sheets, and stacking them appropriately for the next step.
• Hot Wire Operation: Utilizing a hot wire machine to reduce the size of unusable scrap material.
• Material Handling: Moving palletized material using Material Handling Equipment (MHE), such as a pallet jack, and assisting with loading/unloading trucks.
• General Labor: Performing various warehouse duties and operating other equipment as required, with appropriate training provided.

Qualifications & Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

• Have familiarity with a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Be proficient or able to quickly learn to operate a pallet jack and other MHE.
• Be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Possess good reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Be committed to daily workplace safety and utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including composite/steel-toe safety shoes. Protective eyewear and hearing protection will be provided.
