Job summary

ILink Resources, Inc. is seeking a production operator to run saws, benders, and related equipment on the first shift. You will follow work orders, blueprints, and diagrams to meet part specifications, operate press set-ups, and perform quality checks using measurement tools.

Documentation and teamwork are essential, with training provided and advancement possible. This position may involve light lifting, maintaining a clean work area, and assisting other operators as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production equipment per work orders.
• Ability to read blueprints/diagrams.
• Basic math and measurement with tools.
• Willingness to follow instructions and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up tools, dies and equipment and adjust dies and equipment.
• Use computer software to produce tickets and labels.
• Operate equipment to meet production standards and use measuring tools for quality checks.
• Keep records and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow verbal and written instructions for operation of dies and equipment.
• Assist lead with adjustments to dies, machinery, and equipment.
• Perform press set-ups, buffing, packing, bending, deburring, sawing, sorting, reworking, helping others, operating forklift and/or cranes, loading/unloading parts.

Job description

Will perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to operating saws, benders, and other production equipment to meet customer requirements as specified by work order, blueprints and diagrams of the part. More experienced operators may perform independent setup following orientation and initial training.

This Monday- Thursday 1st shift 5:00AM-3:30PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• May set up tools, dies and equipment, and make adjustments in dies and equipment used in producing product.
• Use computer software to produce tickets and labels.
• Operate equipment using efficient procedures to ensure meeting production standards and uses the necessary measuring tools to ensure required quality standards are met.
• Keep all required records and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow all verbal and written instructions pertaining to the operation of dies and equipment as well as any other jobs to which he/she may be assigned.
• May require assistance of a lead person to make necessary adjustments to dies, machinery and equipment.
• Perform the following processes: press set-ups and operation, buffing, packing, bending, deburring, sawing, sorting, reworking, helping other operators, operating of fork lift and/or cranes, loading and unloading parts from lines or machines.
