Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Slitting Operator at our Asheville plant to operate laminating equipment, ensure safety and quality, and contribute to continuous improvement. You will set up laminators, troubleshoot issues, inspect adhesion quality, and document results while supporting team training and safety procedures.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to standard processes in a night shift schedule with competitive hourly pay and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of web handling experience; adhesive or extrusion lamination preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Ability to distinguish minor imperfections and color accuracy.
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).

Schedule

• Shift: Nights Monday – Thursday, 6:45 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

• Pay: $22.50-$27.93/hour + $1.50/hour night shift premium
• Overtime: 1.5x pay for hours over 40 per week
