Job summary

Amcor Lebanon Plant is seeking a Printing Press Assistant to support high-quality packaging production while prioritizing safety and quality. You will prepare inks, substrates, and components for scheduled jobs and assist the Press Operator to monitor and ensure product quality.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to 5S processes, and ability to perform make-readies, with opportunities for growth and development within a global packaging leader.

Qualifications

• Ability read, understand, and follow customer specifications.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills to complete tasks in operator software.
• Visual acuity to perform visual inspection and color recognition.

Schedule

• Shift: 2-2-3: 12-hour shifts, nights, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare inks, substrates, plates, cylinders, gears, etc. for scheduled job.
• Assist Press Operator in monitoring the product to ensure quality.
• Knowledge and ability to perform make-readies.
• Participate in the operation of the press with the ability to operate if needed.
• Order, Charge, and Return raw materials to each job as needed.
• Complete necessary daily paperwork.
• Complete 5S/housekeeping logs.
• Follow and be held accountable for adherence to all of the company policies and procedures as they are outlined and defined.
• Remove and identify all scrap except flying splices before master rolls get moved to WIP area
• All other duties as assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor and/or Management
