Job summary

Primero Staffing is seeking a motivated Machine Operator to support our manufacturing processes. The role involves setting up and operating machinery, monitoring performance, and performing routine maintenance to ensure safe, efficient production.

You will inspect parts for quality, document production and maintenance activities, and collaborate with team members to meet deadlines. Prior experience is valued, but training is provided to develop skills in machinery operation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a machine operator or similar role preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot problems.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate machinery according to established guidelines and procedures to ensure efficient production.


• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor machine performance, identify and troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal production.


• Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.


• Quality Control: Inspect products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet specified standards and requirements.


• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine operation, maintenance activities, and production output.


• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.


• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, supervisors, and managers to ensure smooth production operations and timely order fulfillment.


• Training Participation: Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of machinery and production processes.
