Job summary

Guardian Glass in Richburg, SC is seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing teams in Float, Tempering, Edge Delete, Off-Line Cutting or Coater. This role requires rotating shifts up to 12 hours, with holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include operating and troubleshooting equipment, preparing final products for shipping, understanding daily run schedules, resolving quality issues, and contributing to team goals while driving safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing equipment and following run schedules.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic production line issues.
• Comfort with rotating shifts and repetitive manufacturing tasks.

• Participate in setting team goals and managing job assignments

• Complete general housekeeping duties to maintain a continuously safe and clean work environment
• Perform tasks such as lifting (up to 50lbs), walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours/day in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, dusty, and high-volume environment

Guardian Glass is seeking their next Machine Operator in Richburg, SC! Production Operators will work in any one of the following departments: Float, Tempering, Edge Delete, Off-Line Cutting and Coater. Our Operators must be willing to work a rotational shift schedule (up to 12 hours), holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Competitive pay starting at $18-24 per hour based on experience.

What You Will Do

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience using a computer or tablet

What Will Put You Ahead

• One or more years of experience working in a farming, manufacturing, industrial, or military environment
• Six months or more of machine operator experience
• Experience operating a forklift
