We are seeking a Machine Operator in our Pallet Department at our facility in Quitman, GA. Come and grow with us!

Our machine operators use advanced machines and tools to sharpen and grind steel, transforming raw steel into industry-standard edges.

Pay starting at $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities May Include

• Set up machines and change tooling or saw blades
• Use specialized saws or hand tools
• Use calipers and micrometers; understand fractions and decimals
• Read industrial knife blueprints
• Complete Statistical Process Control Charts (SPCs)
• Forklift Certified or able to become certified
• Load and unload steel from machines
• Add coolant and empty swarf
• General cleaning of machines and area
• Work with urgency
• Wear PPE
• Support and train others if needed
• Participate in Lean and Safety Training
• Cross-train to other positions as requested
