Position

Machine Operators at Dana's Pottstown, PA Facility

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Operate, load, and unload machines including CNC, Drill and Tap, Gnutti, Grinder, Groover, Okuma, Pin Loader, Profile Broach, Turning Machines, etc.
  2. Produce parts according to established standards.
  3. Inspect and gauge parts using micrometers, calipers, and other manual and electronic gauges as required.
  4. Finish parts with hand-held grinders, deburr tools, etc.
  5. Complete all required paperwork, recording pieces produced, defects, and scrap.
  6. Maintain a clean and safe work area and equipment.
  7. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and work practices.
  8. Perform any additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Basic mechanical ability.
  • Ability to read gauges and make adjustments.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to rotate jobs.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts.
  • Mandatory attendance and punctuality.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Light to moderate physical effort, including standing, reaching, lifting up to 25 pounds, and pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb, stoop, or bend for work-related tasks.
  • Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED preferred. Manufacturing experience is a plus.
