Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc in Duncansville, PA is hiring a General Helper to operate, maintain and monitor production machinery, ensuring quality output. This on-site role requires adherence to safety standards and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment on the 2nd shift, with training on the 1st shift.

Starting pay during the 60-90 day training is $19.44 to $20.61 per hour, rising to $24.28 to $25.79 per hour depending on department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Maintains thorough knowledge of equipment/SOPs and Quality Plan.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery according to production specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report major malfunctions.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
• Able to work various overtime as business needs require.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed.

Wieland is hiring a General Helper. The General Helper will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring manufacturing machinery to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. This role is located in Duncansville, PA and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $19.44 to $20.61/hr for the 60-90 day training period, then $24.28 to $25.79/hr depending on the department/position.

Schedule: 2nd shift (3:00 pm to 11:00 pm).Training on 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm for an estimated 2 to 4 weeks.

Pay Schedule: Weekly
