TreeHouse Foods in Northlake, TX is seeking a Machine Operator for 1st shift to operate and monitor packaging lines, ensuring output quality and adherence to specifications. The position is full-time and permanent, with a pay range of $21.63 to $22.71 per hour and a typical shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of machine operator experience and knowledge of industrial safety practices.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of machine operator experience required.
• Knowledge of tools, machines, and safety precautions in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Ability to use knowledge and initiative to improve efficiency or safety in the work area.

Responsibilities

• Observes machine operation to detect malfunctions and adjust for optimal run.
• Performs adjustments or repairs, such as opening valves, changing formers and sealing jaw knives, setting guides, temperature controls, and nitrogen/oxygen fill ratios.
• Inspects and records all quality checks in the computer database and aligns packaging output to quality specs on an order-by-order basis.
• Ensures all aspects of quality standards are met by performing all necessary quality checks.
• Lubricate, sanitize, troubleshoot, and perform minor mechanical adjustments and preventive maintenance on the packaging line as needed.

About the Role:

The Machine Operator role at our Northlake, TX location will add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Observes machine operation to detect malfunctions and adjust for optimal run.


• Performs adjustments or repairs, such as opening valves, changing formers and sealing jaw knives, setting guides, temperature controls, nitrogen/ oxygen fill ratios, and other machine related functions.


• Inspects and records all quality checks in computer dbase and aligns machine packaging output to comply with quality specifications on an order-by-order basis.


• Ensures all aspects of quality standard are met by performing all necessary quality checks.


• Lubricate, sanitize, troubleshooting, make minor mechanical adjustments, and perform preventive maintenance on packaging line as needed.


• Ensure work order schedules, coffee blending matrix, and coffee transports are followed correctly and to company protocol.


• Ensure correct labeling of product is managed, as well as, ensuring label data is complete and accurate.

Important Details:

The position is a full time, permanent role for 1st shift Monday through Friday, shift structure from 6AM - 2:30PM (Pay $21.63 - $22.71).

About You:

1 - 2 years of machine operator experience required.

Knowledge of tools, machines, safety precautions in an industrial/ manufacturing setting.

Ability to use knowledge, creativity, and initiative in recommending or implementing improvements in efficiency or safety of the work area.

Critical thinking and ability to communicate effectively.
