Job summary

Studco Building Systems is seeking production workers to support 1st and 2nd shift. This is an entry to mid level role with potential for professional and monetary growth under our Operations Labor Model. Career progression from entry-level to Team Leader is available.

First shift is 7 AM to 3 PM; Second shift is 3 PM to 12 AM. Developmental opportunities and growth are identified by the business, with potential for advancement and training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, memos, and correspondence.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills (read a ruler and tape measure).
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist on mill operation to produce products as laid out by production planning.
• Support daily maintenance on machinery; report any damage or problems to the Production Supervisor/Team Lead.
• Maintain confidentiality relating to manufacturing details and customer/supplier details.
• Work safely, in accordance with the Company Safety Policy and wear PPE as trained.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Production Supervisor/Team Lead.

Machine Operators will be responsible for the following tasks

• Assisting on mill operation to produce products as laid out by production planning
• Support performance of daily maintenance on machinery; report any damage or problems to the Production Supervisor/Team Lead.
• Understand and maintain confidentiality relating to all business activities, especially relating to manufacturing details and customer/ supplier details.
• Work safely, in accordance with Company Safety Policy.
• Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines. Includes any uniforms, if supplied.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by Production Supervisor/Team Leader
