Job summary

Penn Aluminum International LLC, part of Marmon Holdings backed by Berkshire Hathaway, is hiring for press/machine operator roles. You will assemble sub-assemblies and finished products, read simple blueprints, use hand and power tools, and adjust parts to meet tolerances. Shifts: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am.

Open availability M-F, weekends as required. Pay range: $19.15 - $23.41/hour. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401k, and more.

Qualifications

• Typically has 3-5 years of experience in assembly.
• Must be able to read simple blueprints and follow instructions.
• Able to use hand and power tools and perform routine maintenance.

Assembles mechanical units or fabricated parts to make sub-assemblies or complete products within routine and repetitive assembly operations. Uses various hand and power tools and operates equipment which may include jigs, dies, fixtures, templates, punch presses, riveting machines, circular shears, and drill presses in order to cut, file, fit, punch, ream, rivet, form, and/or assemble. Fits, aligns, calibrates, and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product requirements. Monitors quality of products and raw materials. May read simple blueprints. Performs simple routine maintenance and cleaning. Determines and corrects minor machine malfunctions. Typically has 3-5 years of experience and works under broad supervision. Typical job titles include: Press Operator, Machine Operator, Maker/Packer.
