LSI Staffing is seeking an experienced Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in the Kansas City area to operate and monitor bagging and wire-processing equipment, ensuring safe, efficient production.

The role requires forklift experience, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail, with duties including setup, calibration, quality inspections, and safe handling of materials across the plant.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Manufacturing/industrial experience preferred.
• Familiarity with PLCs and computerized production controls is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools.
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Set up production machines, including calibration and cleaning, to begin production cycles.
• Operate and maintain wire-processing and production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor and handle bagging operations throughout the plant.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain close attention to detail during all production operations.
• Safely operate a rotating forklift to load, unload, and feed materials throughout the plant.

Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: 6:00 PM-2:30 AM

We are currently hiring an experienced Machine Operator to join our team! This position will be responsible for operating and monitoring bagging and wire-processing equipment while helping ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production throughout the plant.

Forklift experience is required.
