Job summary

C3 Industries is seeking an Automation Technician in Missouri to set up, operate, and maintain packaging and production equipment, ensuring schedules are met. Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain assigned equipment to meet the production schedule.
• Operate equipment including label applicator, flower bagging, pre-roll, and cartridge filling machines.
• Record data and monitor computer interface during operation.
• Maintain cleanliness and good working order of equipment.
• Take inventory of materials and supplies for equipment.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance and resolve issues.
• Participate in inspections and audits.
• Obtain training and certifications for equipment use and explore improvements.
• Collaborate with supervisors to develop and revise SOPs.
• Ensure packaging operations comply with SOPs and regulations.
• Report production data and ensure KPIs are met.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and company policies.

The company retails high-quality cannabis products at its High Profile locations in Connecticut, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Massachusetts, and New Jersey.

We are looking for an Automation Technician who will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining assigned equipment and ensure they are meeting facility production schedule.

Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm CST

Pay: $17.50/hr

In this role you will..

• Assist with the preparation of material to run through automated equipment.
• Operate assigned equipment ensuring production demands are met including but not limited to:
  • Label applicator
  • Flower Bagging Machine
  • Pre Roll Machine
  • Cartridge filling equipment
• Record data and movement as needed; monitors computer interface while equipment is running.
• Follow cleaning schedules assigned by the Supervisor ensuring cleanliness and good working order of equipment
• Take inventory of all materials including materials, supplies, consumables, spare parts for equipment etc.
• Set up, troubleshoot and perform routine and preventative maintenance on instruments; ability to resolve front line equipment challenges and escalated accordingly.
• Actively participate in internal and external inspection and audits.
• Obtains training and certification to utilize all equipment, and actively research ways for improvements.
• Work cohesively with Packaging Supervisor and other key team players to develop and revise SOPs.
• Execute packaging operations in accordance with all written SOPs and local and state regulations.
• Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures; ensure all quality standards are adhered to.
• Collect, compile and report on production, product specific data, and ensure team is meeting their KPIs.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations, enforce company policies and SOPs.

Skills and experience you have...

• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
• Familiarity with warehouse procedures.
• Previous experience in labor/general labor role strongly desired.
• Basic weights and measurement skills; ability to operate a scale.
• Ability to complete work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity.
• Ability to stand for a long period of time and regularly lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and/or holidays.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to obtain & maintain required state licenses based on work location.
