What You’ll Get To Do

The 1st Shift Machine Operator is focused on CNC operation and is responsible for setting up fabrication machines that polish, mill, drill, and cut glass. This role reports to the Production Supervisor. It is ideal for an individual who is Detail Oriented, Motivated, and Consistent. As a vital member of the Fabrication Department, this position offers an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Operating machines to manipulate and fabricate glass to produce finished products.
• Reading and interpreting product tags, orders, and sketches to set up equipment for specified products.
• Safely operating and adjusting machinery, performing operator-level maintenance.
• Moving and lifting glass and metal products from tables, racks, trucks, or crates for eight or more hours daily.
• Notifying supervisors of mechanical or material issues.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work area.

What We Are Looking For

• 3-5 years of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to control machines manipulating glass to produce finished products.
• Ability to read and understand job-related paperwork and labels.
• Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ability to lift 75 lbs consistently over a 10-hour shift.
