Machine Operator

Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Machine Operator to be based out of Hobart, IN. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this person will be responsible for running necessary production machinery which will include selecting appropriate programming, loading raw material, examining material to ensure quality, and packaging of finished goods.

What you’ll do:

Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data
• Keep a steady flow of raw materials to maintain production
• Examine finished pieces to ensure they meet quality specifications
• Complete changes on machinery to produce different products
• Communicate production results and issues to supervisors effectively

What you’ll bring:

• 3-5 years of machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Intermediate math ability
• Safety knowledge and experience working around manufacturing machines
• Troubleshooting experience to identify and address issues with machinery

Within 3 months, you’ll:

• Be knowledgeable about all processes for your specified work station
• Ability to read and understand all codes and notifications for the specified work station
• Be able to troubleshoot minor errors with work station and communicate effectively to the necessary parties
