Job summary

MCD, Inc. is hiring a 2nd Shift Machine Operator in Madison, WI to learn on rotary die-cutting equipment. The role includes hands-on training on first shift before transitioning to evenings and a chance to grow within a 100% employee-owned company.

You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot the die-cutting line, perform quality checks, and document production. Must be mechanically inclined and able to lift up to 30 lbs.

• Must have mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and take pride in quality work.
• Ability to read and use a standard ruler accurately.

The Opportunity

We’re hiring a 2nd Shift Machine Operatorwho will be trained specifically on our Rotary Die-Cutting equipment. Previous rotary die-cutting experience is a plus, but not required– we’ll train someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to learn a skilled trade.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 3 PM – 11 PM

2nd Shift Differential

+$0.75/hour

Training & Pay Growth

• New to the trade? Receive hands‑on training on 1st shift (7 AM – 3 PM) for approximately 1–3 months before moving to 2nd shift.
• Our 3‑step Operator Training Program rewards you as you learn and demonstrate skills independently.
• Earn wage increases along the way totaling up to +$1.50/hour.
