Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a production operator to set up and operate a production machine in accordance with established procedures. The role requires reading blueprints, performing precision measurements, and documenting production and quality outputs on the shop floor.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least six months of on-site training as a machine operator or three years of related machining experience.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machines per established procedures.
• Change offsets on CNC machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and use precision gauging tools.
• Document production and quality outputs for traceability.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities.

Job description

Position Summary

Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools and, CNC machines and Cam driven Bar Machines.
• Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations.
• Change offsets on CNC Machines.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Utilize precision instrumentation and gages to verify product quality and integrity.
• Move completed parts per standard work processes.
• Complete appropriate documentation to track production and quality outputs.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities.
• All other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of six months of on-site training as a machine operator or 3 years of related work experience as a machinist
