Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a hands-on operator to retrieve, inspect, and prepare products to customer specifications at our Idaho Falls facility.

Responsibilities include demonstrating knowledge of all machine functions, following safety practices, interpreting basic drawings, preparing materials, and completing logs and QC records. You will perform routine maintenance, adhere to lockout/tag-out procedures, and strive for about 85% efficiency as directed by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to review and understand operator instructions
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Effective communication with team members

• Demonstrate knowledge of all machine functions
• Consistently demonstrate safe working practices and procedures in operating machine
• Interpret basic part drawings
• Identify type and quantity or raw materials required for specific jobs
• Accurately complete all required documentation including time logs, inventory tags and QC logs
• Follow and understand all company lockout tag-out procedures
• Perform routine machine maintenance including blade changes, fluid level checks, cleaning and minor adjustments
• Maintain an average efficiency rate of 85% as determined by management
• Other duties may be assigned as needed
