Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a skilled machine operator to retrieve, inspect, and prepare products to customer specifications. The role requires operating machinery with safety and accuracy, interpreting drawings, and coordinating materials for each job.

You will document logs, follow lockout/tag-out procedures, and perform routine maintenance while aiming for high efficiency. This position is non-exempt and on-site, with comprehensive benefits offered by CRH.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related experience optional.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to read and follow operator instructions precisely.
• Basic math skills required for daily tasks.
• Strong communication with team members is essential.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of all machine functions.
• Operate machines safely and following procedures.
• Interpret basic part drawings.
• Identify type and quantity of raw materials for jobs.
• Document time logs, inventory tags, and QC logs.
• Follow lockout/tag-out procedures.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and minor adjustments.
• Maintain approx. 85% efficiency as set by management.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of all machine functions
• Consistently demonstrate safe working practices and procedures in operating machine
• Interpret basic part drawings
• Identify type and quantity or raw materials required for specific jobs
• Accurately complete all required documentation including time logs, inventory tags and QC logs
• Follow and understand all company lockout tag-out procedures
• Perform routine machine maintenance including blade changes, fluid level checks, cleaning and minor adjustments
• Maintain an average efficiency rate of 85% as determined by management
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Job Requirements

• High school diploma/equivalent or at least one month of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to review and understand operator instructions
• Ability to use basic math
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis
