Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a machine operator to retrieve, inspect, and prepare products to customer specifications. You will operate an automated cage machine or a concrete pipe machine to support efficient manufacturing.

The role emphasizes safety, understanding operator instructions, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. You will follow lockout/tagout procedures and work with team members to maintain about 85% efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or related experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience operating automated cage machines or concrete pipe machines preferred.
• Ability to review and understand operator instructions.
• Ability to use basic math.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of all machine functions.
• Safely operate and monitor the cage/concrete pipe machines.
• Follow lockout/tag-out procedures.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and blade changes.
• Maintain an average efficiency rate of 85% as directed by management.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Job Summary

This role will retrieve, inspect, and prepare products to customer specifications. The machine operator will operate an automated cage machine or a concrete pipe machine.

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of all machine functions
• Consistently demonstrate safe working practices and procedures in operating machine
• Follow and understand all company lockout tag-out procedures
• Perform routine machine maintenance including blade changes, fluid level checks, cleaning and minor adjustments
• Maintain an average efficiency rate of 85% as determined by management
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Job Requirements

• High school diploma/equivalent or at least one month of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience operating automated cage machines, or concrete pipe machines, preferred
• Ability to review and understand operator instructions
• Ability to use basic math
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
