Job Title: Machine Operator at HICKORY CHAIR CO

Summary: This position is responsible for operating machines in assigned area(s).

Essential Duties:

• Operate a variety of machines including bandsaw, profile shaper, rip saw, wide belt sander, and lathe.
• Set up and operate machines such as boring machines, Mortice Tenon, inverted router, and router.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous machine operation experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to walk, stand, climb, stoop, twist, push, pull, and bend over the course of 8 hours.
• Work in noisy environments.
• Frequently lift/carry objects up to 30 lbs.; up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
