How you will make contributions that matter...

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently, including palletizing, casing, conveying equipment, product coders, and pallet jacks.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) in detail without deviation.
• Set up packaging coders and validate product codes according to specifications.
• Identify and communicate any out-of-specification product conditions following established protocols.
• Perform routine equipment adjustments.
• Safely operate a lift truck to move materials as needed.
• Complete production records and documents accurately and neatly.
• Assist with equipment change-overs, cleaning, and setup.
• Perform product reclaim and rework operations.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Follow all occupational health, safety procedures, GMPs, and food safety requirements.
• Cross-train with other departments.
• Maintain good housekeeping within guidelines.
• Adhere to the Saputo Code of Ethics, company values, and workplace policies.
• Collaborate effectively with co-workers and other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Demands

• Work in a manufacturing environment with noise, temperature variations, and physical activity including standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs.
• Handle chemicals with PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Work in a 24/7 shift environment, including days, swing, or night shifts, with potential schedule changes.
• Work up to 12 hours per day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience operating production machinery in food manufacturing, dairy experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic, team player, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task, follow instructions, and analyze data and situations critically.

Hourly pay rate: $19.88
