Johnson Controls is seeking fabrication technicians to support Brake Presses, Punch Turrets, and Automated Lasers. The role involves unloading, loading materials, assisting operators, and helping with setup of tooling and dies in a busy fabrication environment.
Applicants should be able to read tape measures and blueprints, understand safety procedures, and lift/move materials as required. This is an on-site manufacturing position with prescreen assessments and safety-focused responsibilities.

Accurate reading of tape measures, gauges, and other test equipment. Help set up, load and unload machines and assist machine operators within the Fabrication Department. Stack finished product in accordance with manufacturing specifications. Ex: Place bundles coming off of conveyer into a stacking pattern/unitizing to go to shipping for shipment. Assist in bending/cutting of raw materials. Participating in reducing waste, actively participating in team problem solving processes, and maintaining quality standards. Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints. (Preferred) Basic understanding of safety procedures and equipment handling. Ability to lift and move materials within the required safety guidelines. Standing for extended periods. Performing repetitive tasks. Basic computer/math skills Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Prescreen assessment required.
