Job summary

AtWork Group is seeking a Manufacturing Machine Operator for a contract-to-hire role in Georgia. You will load machines, enter data into controls, inspect products, and adjust inputs to maintain quality.

The schedule alternates between day and night shifts during training and permanent hire will transition to a DuPont shift pattern. Responsibilities include operating machinery safely, tracking production data, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written instructions in English.

• Operate a forklift after completing company-provided certification.

Job description

As a Manufacturing Machine Operator, you will load machines with material, enter data into machines computer controls, inspect and monitor machine and adjust inputs, pressures, and speeds to maintain quality. This is a contract-to-hire position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate manufacturing and production machinery safely and efficiently
• Load raw materials and monitor machine performance
• Adjust machine settings, speed, pressure, and controls as needed
• Track production counts, material usage, and operational data
• Perform quality inspections, including measurements, weights, and visual checks
• Identify and report production or equipment issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all manufacturing and workplace safety procedures
• Operate a forklift after completing company-provided certification

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous machine operator, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience required
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand for extended periods and climb stairs as needed
• Willingness to obtain Fork Truck (Forklift) Certification
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written instructions in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous Forklift operating experience is a plus

Schedule Training / Temp-to-Hire Phase

you will work the following schedule alternating between day and night shift every other week: Week One: Monday – Thursday 6: 50 AM – 6: 50 PM Week Two: Monday – Thursday 6: 50 PM – 6: 50 AM

Upon Permanent Hire Employees transition to a DuPont shift schedule, which provides flexibility and extended time.
