We are looking for aMachine Operatorto join our team in Fullerton, CA!

Key Relationships: You will report directly toour Production Manager in our Fullerton, CA facility.

Location: This position is based in Fullerton, California.

Shift: The schedule is Monday – Friday from 5:00am – 1:30pm. Applicants must be able to work overtime daily, when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate Kval door machinery safely and efficiently on the exterior door production line
• Produce products to meet work order specifications while meeting a high standard of quality
• Operate our machinery and equipment to the specifications of the manufacturer
• Participate in cross-training with other departments on the production line to further your skillsets
• Understand and apply our health and safety policies and regulations

Requirements

• Previous door manufacturing experience as a Machine Operator is a plus; specifically, Kval door machinery operating experience
• Are comfortable operating machinery and standing/walking for long periods
• Understand the importance of health and safety at work and can follow instructions

Qualifications:

• Precision minded approach to work and strong attention to detail a must
• Active Listening – Giving full attention to what other people are saying and taking time to understand them by asking questions when needed
• Ability to understand and follow both written/verbal instructions, perform physical tasks in a timely, efficient, and safe manner
• Receive instructions, work well with others, learn new tasks, and be flexible in day-to-day duties
• Ability to work well in a team and independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Physical:

• Must be in sound physical condition and be able to perform a physically demanding job
• Must be able to lift up to 150 pounds with assistance
• Machine Operators need to have physical stamina and be able to stand, squat, climb and bend throughout their shift

Work Conditions:

• Warehouse/manufacturing environment
• Exposure to varying hot and cold weather conditions, dust, dirt, fumes, and loud noises
• Working near moving mechanical parts or machinery
