Responsibilities

We're Hiring! Revolution is looking for a Machine Operator to join our team in Florence, AL. This role is an entry-level role and the company will train. The successful candidate will be capable of working within a team environment, detail oriented, and individually motivated to accomplish goals and objectives. This position is a full-time permanent role with a competitive benefits package in a clean and safe working environment.

• Insert wires between driving and straightening rollers and start the machine that automatically cuts, forms, and ejects a specified number of bale ties on a rack.
• Inspect wires to ensure they are of a specified length and the ends are correctly formed. Remove unacceptable wires and replace them to maintain the correct number in a bundle.
• Transfer wires by hand to a 4-wheel cart, cut metal bands to specified lengths using wire cutters, and tie bundles with wire bands.
• Place end covers on each end of the bundle, and attach a tag with the length and gauge of wire and date manufactured.
• Lock the Single Loop bundle into the shrink wrap apparatus, attach the identification tag, remove the wrapped bundle from the machine, coil bundle length into a circular shape, and transfer the coiled product to the pallet.
• Follow work guidelines and adhere to all company policies.
• Work responsibly in a safe manner following all safe operating procedures and posting requirements.
• Complete any additional tasks as instructed by the supervisor.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, or GED required.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Keen sense of urgency and time management skills.
• The ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Good math skills and strong attention to detail.
• Essential reading and writing skills are required.
• Works well within a high-pressure team environment.
• Must be able to stand 8-12 hours during a shift.
