Job summary

CoWorx Staffing in partnership with a client specializing in technician ceramics is seeking a Machine Operator in Fairfield, NJ. The role involves setting up and operating machining equipment to produce parts according to established procedures, while upholding strict quality standards in a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

This temp-to-hire position runs 7am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday. The company offers full benefits once hired permanent.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Experience as a machine operator.
• Ability to operate machine tools.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools (micrometers, indicators, etc.).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Operate assigned equipment within the department.
• Perform machining operations on a variety of parts to meet specifications.
• Work to required tolerances using precision measuring tools.
• Sharpen tools as needed to maintain performance.
• Inspect work for accuracy after first article approval.

This role ensures strict adherence to quality standards while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. Temp to Hire position - 7am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday
