Job summary

Winland Foods, Inc. in Fair Lawn, NJ is seeking a full-time Machine Operator for a third shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) to set up and operate equipment packing dried pasta according to customer specifications.

You will monitor the line, stage packaging materials, label and weigh totes, and enter data into the ERP system while maintaining safety, quality, and GMP/HACCP compliance. Rotate through tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in high heat and humidity during an 8-hour shift.
• Detail-oriented and able to record numeric information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up totes based on parameter specifications and stage packaging materials.
• Weight, label, and band finished totes; enter data into ERP.
• Operate packaging and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Print product labels and move totes to warehouse using PIV equipment or forklifts.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow GMP/HACCP guidelines.
• Assist in product changeovers and rotate through shift positions.
• Keep thorough production records and reports; notify supervisor of anomalies.

The primary responsibility of the is a skilled hands-on food packaging position responsible for ensuring the correct set-up and operation of equipment used to pack dried pasta according to customer specifications.
