Mars Snacking – Team Member- Elizabethtown, PA is seeking a factory team member to support a DOVE chocolate manufacturing line. The role involves operating equipment, quality checks, and maintaining logs on a fast-paced line.

Starting pay is $24.10 per hour, with benefits starting day one and opportunities to transition to a 12-hour shift schedule in the future. Prior manufacturing experience and basic MS Office skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and perform changeovers safely.

Current Shift Schedule (2026)

• Shift: 1st (day)
• Schedule: Monday- Friday
• Hours: 6:30am- 3pm (flexible pending business needs)

Future Shift Schedule (2027)

Transition to a 12-hour night or day shift schedule, following a 2-2-3 schedule (Further details will be provided during interview)

Description of Role:

Machine Operators (Team Members) function as an expert member of a manufacturing area team responsible for the efficient production of quality products.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
• 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing
• Proficiency in software systems including MS Office and e-mail

Physical Requirements:

• Perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
• Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
• Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
• Capable of working in non-climate-controlled areas including hot, cold and wet conditions.
• Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical degree or certifications
• 2+ years experience in a manufacturing setting operating a variety of machines
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Knowledge of inventory control principles
• Experience with SAP or other warehouse management system

What will be your Key Responsibilities?

• Performs activities and job tasks within a manufacturing line or area
• Operates equipment and changeovers in a safe and efficient manner
• Takes corrective actions in solving problems to root cause level
• Able to assess equipment operating reliability and perform routine repairs, adjustments, and malfunction troubleshooting
• Performs and/or works with Maintenance to complete equipment preventative maintenance (PM)
• Performs quality control (QC) tasks such as metal checks, inspection of date codes, item numbers, dump logs, etc.
• Maintain accurate records of quality check and keeps detailed logbooks
• Any ad hoc tasks
