Job summary

Impact-Environmental-Group is seeking a manufacturing operator to support the Thermoforming department. You will operate multi-station rotary thermoforming machinery, perform post-form trimming, drilling, and quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.

You will maintain safe, clean work areas, communicate shift-relevant information, and provide coverage as needed while supporting the team in a high-volume production environment in Elgin, IL.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Job description

Responsible to perform basic operations throughout the Thermoforming department in order to form heavy gauge products within designated specification. This includes post-form trimming, grinding and assembling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Basic operation of multi-station rotary style thermoforming machinery at a rate that meets or exceeds quality and production standards.
  • Perform post-form trimming using handheld trimming equipment to ensure product meets designated specifications.
  • Operate drill machine and use a handheld drill.
  • Complete required quality checks and report any defect in a timely manner.
  • Communicate all pertinent information at shift change.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.
  • Provide relief to other members of team as necessary
