Commercial Employees Inc. is hiring for Production / Sewing Operator roles in the Duquesne area. Positions involve filling, sewing, and bagging pillows on two 12-hour shifts with a 2-2-3 schedule. The job offers weekly pay and hourly rates of $15.05 for day shift and $16.05 for night shift, plus medical, dental and life insurance.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 35 pounds, and perform basic math. Previous industrial sewing experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate single needle sewing machines
• Fill pillow shells with fiber and place on conveyor
• Check pillow weight and quality
• Replace needles and re-thread machines
• Maintain safe operation of equipment and machinery

Job description

We are filling multiple Production /Sewing Operator positions in the Duquesne area. You will fill, sew and bag pillows.

1st/2nd Shift Available

TheseProduction /Sewing Operator positions require a 2-2-3 work schedule. The benefits of this schedule are only working 14 days a month, every other week you get OT, and every other week you have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off!

Production / Sewing Operator

• Operatesingle needle sewing machines
• You willfillpillowshellswith fiber, placethe pillow on the conveyorand checkpillowweight
• Responsible forreplacingneedlesand re-threading machines
• Safetyis a priority. All employees are responsible for careful and safe use of allequipment and property.
• Experience as anIndustrial Seamstress, Tailor, or Embroidererhelpful,but not required

Production / Sewing Operator

• Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods during shift
• Must be able to lift 35pounds& basic math skills
• 12-hour shifts: 6a - 6p @ $15.05 per hour – weekly pay
