Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Dexter, MI seeks an experienced Machine Operator for our facility specializing in custom assemblies, precision machined components and injection molding.

Pay range is $19.00-$20.00 per hour. 1st shift: 6:00am–4:30pm; 2nd shift: 4:30pm–2:30am, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC lathe machines.
• Ability to read manual micrometers (o.d. mics, i.d. mics, calipers) and read blueprints.
• Produce quality parts and maintain production levels.
• Capable of learning how to diagnose mechanical difficulties and perform troubleshooting.
• Basic cleaning, oiling and general maintenance of CNC machines and inspection boxes.
• Continuously stock machines with production materials as required.
• Change tools, drills and inserts in machine as needed.
• Knowledge or ability to learn how to read blueprints.
• Able to lift 50lbs+.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts.
• Inspect parts using micrometers and calipers.
• Maintain machine readiness and perform basic maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and adjust tooling as needed.
• Stock materials and change tools/inserts as required.
• Follow blueprints and production schedules.
