Job summary

Tillamook Ice Cream Plant in Decatur, IL is seeking Mixer Machine Operators. Start pay is $20.00/hr with a raise to $23.76/hr after probation. Shifts run Tue–Fri and various weekend hours, with a first shift 6:00 AM–4:30 PM and second shift 6:00 PM–6:00 AM. This role includes mixing, packaging, and line support.

Experience in manufacturing and food-grade environments is preferred; candidates must lift up to 60 lbs, tolerate temperature fluctuations, and complete safety training.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures.
• Able to complete mandatory food safety and general safety training.

Responsibilities

• Mixing product.
• Operating manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Packaging product.
• Keep production lines supplied with packaging materials and ingredients.
• Use pallet jacks.
• Record and maintain production documentation.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures for cleaning and sanitation.
