Vacuum Braze Furnace OperatorLocation: Coppell, TXShift: Friday - Sunday | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour Job Type: Full-TimePosition SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Vacuum Braze Furnace Operator to join our manufacturing team in Coppell, TX. This role is responsible for loading, operating, monitoring, and unloading an industrial vacuum braze furnace used in the production of metal components and assemblies. The ideal candidate will have prior manufacturing or machine operating experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely around industrial equipment and high-temperature processes.Previous experience with vacuum furnaces, brazing, or heat-treating operations is preferred but not required. Comprehensive training will be provided.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate vacuum braze furnace equipment according to established procedures and work instructions.Load and unload parts, fixtures, and assemblies into and out of the furnace safely and efficiently.Select and run established furnace recipes and production cycles.Monitor furnace temperatures, vacuum levels, cycle times, and other operational parameters throughout the process.Observe heating, brazing, and cooling cycles to ensure proper furnace performance.Verify furnace conditions and process parameters before initiating production runs.Inspect parts before and after processing for defects, abnormalities, or quality concerns.Complete production documentation accurately and maintain required process records.Monitor equipment performance and report alarms, leaks, malfunctions, or unusual conditions immediately.Perform basic cleaning and routine operator-level maintenance on equipment and work areas.Safely handle metal components, fixtures, and production materials.Follow established quality standards and procedures to ensure products meet specifications.Adhere to all safety policies when working around high-temperature and vacuum furnace equipment.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Assist with additional production-related duties as needed.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED preferred.One to three years of manufacturing, machine operation, furnace operation, heat-treating, or related production experience preferred.Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.Previous vacuum furnace, brazing, or heat-treating experience is a plus.Manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred.Basic computer skills are a plus.Forklift experience is a plus.Skills & AbilitiesMechanically inclined with the ability to operate industrial equipment safely.Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor multiple process variables simultaneously.Ability to follow written work instructions, procedures, and furnace recipes.Strong commitment to quality, safety, and productivity.Reliable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand for extended periods during the workday.Comfortable working around high-temperature industrial equipment.Able to safely perform physical tasks in a manufacturing environment.#INDTX
